1989-2002 Cummins Race Tappet Cover w/ Vent Holes (PDM-08300)

Description

Industrial Injection billet aluminum race tappet cover for P-pump-equipped 12V and 24V 5.9L Cummins engines. Replaces the stamped steel factory cover with a thicker, stronger billet piece that won't warp under heavy crankcase pressure.

The factory tappet cover seals to the block with a rubber gasket that hardens and weeps oil over time. This cover deletes the gasket entirely and seals on RTV, which gives a longer-lasting and more reliable seal — especially on engines making significant boost. Two 2-3/4" breather ports are pre-machined for venting crankcase pressure on race builds.
