The ALPHA XD PRO S Air Spring Kit from Pacbrake addresses truck sag, sway, and bottoming out. It includes air helper springs with bump stops, stainless steel hardware, and corrosion-resistant end caps. Built with 20 support wires and a polyurethane internal bumper, it offers durability, prevents damage, and maintains ride comfort even without air pressure when not towing. Options are available with or without the in-bag bump stop.

Why Pacbrake added a bump stop to their bags?
Peace of mind.Ā Customers want a bump stop to prevent bottoming out from loss of air bag pressure, an extremely rare event that could damage the air bags or potentially the frame of the truck. Think of it asĀ an "insurance policy" against bottoming out.
An additional benefit is that you can run these air bags at 0 psi when unloaded for superior ride comfort.
Are bump stops necessary?
No! For those that require max travelĀ in their air bags, to raise and lower their rear end to pickup trailers or boats, or for those that take their trucks off roading,Ā air bags without bump stops are recommended. Consider the HP10373-X ALPHA XDĀ air bag.
