1992-1994 Ford Stanadyne DB2 Mechanical Injection Pump Automatic 166HP (DB2831-5027)

Description

Stanadyne DB2 mechanical injection pump (DB2831-5027) for 1992-1994 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks running the 7.3L IDI diesel with an automatic transmission. Calibrated to the factory 166 HP power rating for stock-platform restorations.

The 7.3L IDI auto-trans calibration is unique to the automatic-transmission trucks of this era — the manual-trans 185 HP pump (DB2831-5028) is a different unit and not interchangeable. Each unit ships set up to OE spec: fuel rates, advance, and shutoff are flow-tested on a Stanadyne stand. Bolts to the factory front cover, uses OE hard lines and shutoff solenoid.

• Auto-trans calibration only — manual-trans trucks need the 185 HP pump (DB2831-5028) instead.
